White Star Line silverplate wine/champagne coaster by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co., Regent St., London, bearing the line¡¯s house flag emblem. Designed for serving splits of champagne or wine, this smaller form protected fine furniture in first-class cabins and lounges while adding nautical elegance. Ornate scalloped rim with foliate accents, circa 1920¨C1933, a scarce survivor from the golden age of ocean liners. Marked on underside. (shown with Champagne split small bottle)
