Description
The Anatolian plateau is where the weaving of oriental rugs originated. Rich in tradition and pride, each of the villages of the area produced a certain design and colors that the neighbors rarely copied. These Antiques were largely illustrated in historical European painting. Their bold geometrical designs and soft colors made them favorites of interior designers.
