Striking silverplate chocolate pot by Hukin & Heath, with clean tapered lines, domed lid, and bold ebonized side handle. The sculptural silhouette and minimal detailing reflect the influence of Christopher Dresser, who designed for the firm in the late 19th century. While unmarked as a Dresser design, the form is distinctly in his spirit. A rare and refined example of British Aesthetic Movement design.
