Handwoven storage basket woven by the native people from the Akha tribe in Thailand. This basket was woven utilizing a robust double weave and incorporates a narrow wooden base for greater stability as well as some vertical bamboo splines. This basket shows wear from daily use to store textiles or household goods, the lid shows some repairs and a lovely aged patina
