Description
A pair of French Louis XV style fauteuils a la Reine. Seats are upholstered in a silken striped brocade secured with braided gimp. A classical floral vase and ribbon motif is superimposed over vertical stripes in sage, blush and cream. In the back is a pink cotton with yellow dots. The frame is carved with acanthus details on the crest rail and skirt, knees and sides of the seat. Outward flared arms are scrolled with cushioned hand holds and cabriole legs finish with scrolled toe and peg feet.
