Description
The Maitake Table Lamp is an artisanal wonder covered with sprouting mushrooms that have been shaped and applied by hand. The reactive glaze applied to the dark clay ceramic leaves the outer edges of the mushrooms uncovered for added interest. The implied base has been hammered for greater texture. This lamp was made by a community of talented women artisans who live at the border of Burma and Thailand.
