Signed lower right, ‘Shafsky’ for Nancy Shafsky (American, 1921-2014) and painted circa 1965. Nancy Shafsky graduated from UCLA in 1943. A talented amateur artist, she traveled the world with her husband, a naval officer. After his retirement in 1954, they ran an antiques shop on Solano Avenue in Berkeley where she continued to paint and exhibit for the rest of he life.Very Good: minor marks, minor losses, minor age-toning; unframed
