This exceptional Italian majolica vase is a striking example of the craftsmanship produced by Societ¨¤ Ceramica Umbra, founded by Paolo Rubboli in the late 19th century in Gualdo Tadino, Umbria. Known for reviving the Renaissance-era lustro technique and embracing elaborate, polychrome decoration, Rubboli¡¯s workshop became a key figure in the tradition of Italian ceramics.
